Tina
Sellers focuses her practice on natural
resources law, with particular emphasis
on issues related to due diligence and permitting
of hardrock mines and other development
projects. Tina performs mineral title examinations,
counsels clients regarding the use of easements
and rights-of-way, and offers assistance
with land use and revenue sharing issues
under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement
Act (ANCSA). Drawing upon her prior 11 years
of environmental consulting experience,
she provides clients with legal guidance
on environmental compliance issues, permitting,
and contaminated site investigations, remediation,
and closure. Tina was actively involved
in drafting the recently implemented Alaska
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (APDES)
regulations, and has experience advocating
for clients in administrative proceedings
and litigation involving claims under state
and federal environmental statutes.
