Susan's
practice has been concentrated in environmental
law for over twenty years. She has extensive
experience in drafting applications for
and negotiating the terms and conditions
of permits and other authorizations for
proposed Alaska natural resource development
projects. In addition, she has worked with
many clients to assess compliance with federal
and state environmental laws and to interpret,
challenge and present comments on proposed
statutes and regulation. She also has managed
matters related to enforcement, allocation
of liability and insurance coverage. She
has extensive experience before administrative
agencies and federal and state courts. Susan
is a frequent speaker on environmental law
topics, both in Alaska and Outside.
