Brian
has focused his legal career on commercial
law. This includes commercial litigation,
contract negotiation, drafting transactional
documents, structuring secured transactions,
corporate planning, and real estate. Brian
is involved in several administrative appeals
involving both the Department of Natural
Resources and Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation
Commission and also represents clients before
the Regulatory Commission of Alaska. Since
moving to Reeves Amodio, Brian has gained
extensive experience in environmental and
natural resource law. He defends contractors
in enforcement actions, including suits
by the Environmental Protection Agency over
permit violations and Clean Water Act violations.
Brian also represents a number of clients
in matters involving contaminated sites
throughout Alaska. Finally, Brian is involved
in resolving land use issues for mining
companies and Alaska Native corporations
to facilitate resource development.
